Coop RB02
The Coop RB02 is the coop we wanted to buy and could not find: big enough to walk into, honest about how many birds it actually holds, and sealed tightly enough that a raccoon gives up and goes elsewhere.
The hen house sits raised off the ground, which keeps bedding dry and gives the flock shaded floor space underneath. Four nesting boxes open from an exterior egg door, so morning collection takes ten seconds. The roosting bars are removable, and the droppings tray pulls straight out for cleaning.
Every opening — run panels, vents, windows — is 19-gauge galvanized hardware cloth, not poultry netting. The run includes a skirt apron you bury or stake outward to stop diggers.
Finished in classic barn red with white trim, on a kiln-dried solid fir frame with a water-based exterior coating and a pitched corrugated steel roof.
